1. Responsible organisation and scope
Leero Botics GmbH, Schwarzackerstrasse 31, 8304 Wallisellen, Switzerland, is responsible for processing personal data on leerobotics.ch and www.leerobotics.ch. Contact us at info@leerobotics.ch or +41 76 578 58 09. This notice covers website visits and initial enquiries about our services. Additional processing during a later project will be explained separately where needed. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies in particular; other data protection rules remain applicable where their requirements are met.
2. Website visits and server logs
When you visit, the web server processes technical connection data, including your IP address, the time and requested address, and technical information about the connection, request and amount of data transferred. These details may be stored in access and error logs. They support website operation, troubleshooting and detection of misuse or attacks. They are not used to create advertising profiles.
3. Contact form, email and telephone
When you submit the Workflow Check or contact form, we process the selected service, task or process description, frequency, number of people involved, systems used, company or organisation, name and email address. Time estimates, desired outcome and phone number are optional. We also store a reference, submission time, selected language, acknowledgement of the privacy information and delivery status. If you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details and content you provide. Please do not send passwords, access credentials, confidential documents or other people’s personal data; a general description is sufficient.
4. Purposes
We use the information to understand your enquiry, assess feasibility, ask follow-up questions and, if requested, prepare a quotation or collaboration. This includes organising enquiries internally and delivering them reliably to our mailbox. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Enquiries are assessed by a person; the website calculator makes no automated decision about a person or contract.
5. Hosting, recipients and storage locations
The website runs on a privately provided server in Switzerland. Submitted enquiries are saved in a directory on that server that is not publicly accessible and forwarded to info@leerobotics.ch. Under the current access arrangements, only the person responsible for enquiries within the company has access to the server and mailbox. We use Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, Switzerland, for email transmission and the mailbox. Infomaniak processes contact details, message contents and technical delivery data, and stores email data in Switzerland under its Mail Service terms. Any technically necessary provider access is governed by the agreed services. See Infomaniak’s privacy information. Hostpoint AG, Switzerland, manages the domain and DNS; the contact form does not send enquiry contents to Hostpoint.
6. Backups and international transmission
We currently have no additional cloud backup configured for website or enquiry data. This is separate from the service backups Infomaniak makes for the mailbox. The storage described here uses the server in Switzerland and the Swiss email service. Replies to your email address are delivered to your chosen provider, which may be abroad depending on your address and configuration. General internet and email transmission can cross borders. If we introduce further recipients or storage locations, we will update this notice accordingly.
7. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on the purpose of processing. We keep enquiries and related correspondence while needed to handle the enquiry, an ongoing quotation or a resulting business relationship. When the matter is closed, we assess whether statutory retention obligations or specific reasons to preserve legal claims remain; information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. Technical logs are needed only for as long as necessary for operation, troubleshooting and security; a specific security incident may justify longer retention. This does not mean all contact enquiries are kept for ten years. Deletion is considered for both the server copy and the mailbox. Deleted content can remain in service backups until those backups are overwritten in the normal cycle. You may contact us at any time about the retention of your particular enquiry.
8. Security and spam prevention
The website uses HTTPS. Transmission from the web server to the email service is encrypted; this is not end-to-end encryption of the entire email conversation. The form validates input, uses time-limited form tokens and limits request frequency. For this limit, an identifier is derived from the IP address using a secret key. The counting window is 15 minutes; expired counter files are cleaned up during subsequent checks. The IP address is not stored as a field in the enquiry record, but may appear in server logs. Form tokens remain valid for one hour. If email delivery temporarily fails, the enquiry stays saved and delivery is retried.
9. Cookies, analytics and external content
The current website itself uses no cookies, advertising trackers or analytics tools. Fonts and page graphics are provided without embedded third-party services. The selected language is part of the page address. The website code does not persist form entries in browser storage; your browser’s own storage or autofill features are independent of this. The effort calculator runs in your browser and does not send its inputs to us. External websites are contacted when you open their links and are then subject to their operators’ own notices.
10. Your rights and contact
Contact info@leerobotics.ch to request information about the processing of your personal data or to ask for correction or deletion. Further rights, such as obtaining or transferring data or objecting to processing, apply where the relevant legal conditions are met. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before handling a request. Statutory retention duties and overriding legitimate interests remain reserved. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
11. Changes
We update this notice when the website, services or processing arrangements change. The current version and its revision date are available on this page.
